Colter Wall CA

Country Folk

A voice that scratches at the most beautiful Far West memories in the heart of a songwriter barely old enough to drink bourbon. Country 2.0 has a future!

You can picture him, banjo in hand, slumped against the façade of an (inevitably) seedy motel straight out of “Fargo” and terribly believable in a beat generation soundtrack, except that Colter Wall is only 21 years old. A raspy voice from a different age of timeless folk. Of course, there is some Townes Van Zandt in the oily copper of his guitar when the wreaths of Nashville hit against the back of his throat. But it is the youth’s role to prepare for the future. And with a lavish album in the spittoon, America’s ink is not going to dry out anytime soon.
